We are officially accepting 10-minute play submissions for our New Voices Festival now through the end of September. Visit the link below to submit your play for consideration.

Excited about the festival, but don't consider yourself a playwright? We're also looking for actors, directors, and crew to help make this festival happen! If you're interested in being a part of New Voices beyond writing, let us know using the link below and we'll reach out to you once the 10-minute plays have been selected. Actors, directors and crew will have one week of rehearsals followed by one weekend of performances for this festival.

Please note that expressing interest in the festival at this time is not a formal commitment. Playwrights will receive a small stipend if their piece is selected.

At VFR, we continue to be horrified at the atrocities committed by our government, including the degradation of our democracy and total disregard for the law and basic humanity. We feel it's extremely important to make our stance known, because we believe silence is complacency. We stand in solidarity with our BIPOC, AAIP, LQBTQ+, immigrant and all marginalized friends and community members. We strive to make VFR a safe place for artists of all backgrounds, heritage, ethnicity, sexual orientation and overall identity. We're doing everything we can to educate ourselves, advocate for change and fight for justice, and invite you to do the same.
