"O, never say that I was false of heart..."

Voices Found Repertory is a team of resourceful problem solvers interested in passionate, empathetic stagings of Shakespeare's plays, and producing new work with imagination and integrity. Our mission is to create theatre that unifies its audience; to develop a common artistic vocabulary and allow artists to work, learn, and play together; to establish and uphold an inclusive safe space for exploration, communication, and empathy.

A LETTER FROM OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

actionable items & resources
We know it's been a while since you’ve heard from us. We were planning to kick off our next season with a huge announcement and get you all excited for a VFR revamp. That's unfortunately not what this is... yet. (It IS coming, we promise.)

Part of the reason we've been quiet this past year is because, like so many of you, we've been navigating the constant onslaught of horrors committed by our government. We've all been processing and resisting individually, and the energy needed to run this company had to be diverged elsewhere.

As we continue to work towards our next season, we felt it was extremely important to make our stance known because silence is complacency. We stand in solidarity with our BIPOC, AAIP, LQBTQ+, immigrant and all marginalized friends and community members. We vehemently condemn ICE and this entire administration. We're doing everything we can to educate ourselves, advocate for change and fight for justice.

keeping artists in our art

AI is everywhere you turn these days. At VFR, we strongly believe in the artistry, creativity and capability of our team. We continue our mission to support and advocate for artists across the board. Art is inherently human, and we pledge to keep it that way.
