Let's talk about the why
Our company was founded in 2016, and a lot has changed since then. We've produced over 35 full productions, staged readings and online virtual events. We've worked with dozens of local artists and partnered with local businesses. We’ve experienced changes in leadership and company members. We learned to adapt and continue to grow from past experiences and challenges.
It’s our priority that you know who we are, what we do, how we do it and why we do it.
We want to not only be a company you trust, but a company you’re excited to support and work with.
Who we areEverything from season selection, finances, content creation, education and administrative duties are handled by our dedicated Board of Directors. Giving their time, talent and resources on a primarily volunteer basis, our Board ensures the company continues to grow and produce the work you know and love.

what we doAlthough we've certainly produced work outside of Shakespeare throughout our seasons, it still stands as the pillar of our company. Despite the fact that some hold Shakespeare on a pedestal, he wrote for the masses. We believe you don't need to understand every soliloquy or cherish each line of passion to still engross yourself in the feelings and heart of the scene.

financesLet's talk about the absolute hardest and most frustrating part of running a theatre company: Money.
We could spend a lot of time talking about this. Pretty much every theatre company, artist, and small business can relate. Every show is a gamble as to whether or not we'll break even, let alone carry a surplus to the next show. We're fortunate that we can usually reach our financial goal for each show, but it comes with a lot of stress and sleepless nights for our board. And if we can't break even, then it's up to our board to come up with plans D, E, F and G. At the end of the day, we make sure our artists are paid first and then we figure the rest out. |
