Zach McLain: Actor, Director, Designer, Filmmaker, Photographer, and probably Batman
I started as an actor.  Growing up I lived in a lot of cities that didn’t have large theatre communities so I did what I could.  Often that meant working onstage and backstage. When I began studying at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, the performing arts department insisted on this type of experience.  Working onstage as well as backstage. Crew members were encouraged to attend an acting or movement course while actors were required to assist backstage for productions. I was fortunate to receive the Louis Ederman Scholarship for Diversity in Multiple Disciplines. In other words... working onstage and backstage. :-)

A huge part of getting this show moving is to get it on its feet to see how it moves. Sometimes it's a ballet. Sometimes it's a newborn giraffe. As we continue to explore, we'll keep the blog updated with photos.

Romeo & Juliet will play during the second weekend of August, 2016 at the In Tandem Theater. Buy tickets here, and subscribe to our blog to follow the production and get updates on what we’re working on!

First R&J Rehearsal

We did it! It was in a park! It was awesome!
Introductions, warmups, games; passing zips, falling down, delivering pasta; cold readings followed by casting followed by pizza and a readthrough. All in all, a very successful beginning to a new adventure.

Romeo & Juliet will play during the second weekend of August, 2016 at the In Tandem Theater. Buy tickets here, and subscribe to our blog to follow the production and get updates on what we’re working on!
