We did it! It was in a park! It was awesome! Introductions, warmups, games; passing zips, falling down, delivering pasta; cold readings followed by casting followed by pizza and a readthrough. Yesterday's meeting happened with all the windows and doors open to keep us from dying in the 90 degree humidity. Shanna Theiste's showed us the Capulets' accessories, Andy Montano dropped us into Coriolanus' world, and Zach Mclane taught us about Roman ruins. Our production team met up for breakfast at Original Pancake house to discuss such important things as mission statements, costumes, and branding. And for future reference, their bacon is on point.
