The Arcade Theater is in the Underground Collaborative, in the basement of the Grand Avenue Mall.
(Also, it's very cold in the theatre. We recommend you bring a sweater or jacket. Maybe your sled dog team.)

161 W Wisconsin Ave.
Milwaukee, WI 53203
Handicapped elevator is located between Plankington and 2nd. This is the only public elevator that accesses the lower level.

PARKING

STREET
Free after 6pm on most surrounding streets. Our favorites are in front of the mall on Wisconsin Ave., behind the mall on Michigan Ave., and down Michigan on 3rd Street.
GARAGE
Accessible via Plankington Ave. Rates vary, and honestly it's usually not worth the trouble.
LOTS
There are several lots within a two-block radius of the mall, starting at $4 after 5pm. One's between 2nd St. and Plankington Ave, another between Michigan and Clyborne.

Wearing Lots of Hats

9/30/2016

By Jake Russell Thompson, Coriolanus team member and Voices Found co-founder
As the co-founder with the most free time I’m wearing many hats, so to speak. As I write this post, I balance an assistant director fedora (but like, a cool one), social media Newsie cap, and a marketing director fez. My Coriolanus reference playlist is on in the background so I can try to find a transition song for the final scene of the show; my sound designer baseball hat hangs off of my right ear. After this post is done my plan is to spend about an hour learning my lines, so I’ll have to see if I left actor hat in my car. I can’t seem to find it, which is weird considering how easy it should be to notice:

By Caroline Boettcher, Coriolanus stage manager
Hello!
My name is Caroline Boettcher and I am the Stage Manager for Voices Found Repertory’s production of Shakespeare’s Coriolanus! I am currently a junior at UW-Milwaukee and I am pursuing a BFA degree in Stage Management. I’m pretty new to Stage Managing as this is only my second time doing it, the previous being Romeo & Juliet with Voices Found, but I am so grateful for the experience and I am loving the work that they do and let me do.

Second Production Meeting: Costume and Set Design

6/12/2016

Yesterday's meeting happened with all the windows and doors open to keep us from dying in the 90 degree humidity. Shanna Theiste's showed us the Capulets' accessories, Andy Montano dropped us into Coriolanus' world, and Zach Mclane taught us about Roman ruins.

Romeo & Juliet will play during the second weekend of August, 2016 at the In Tandem Theater. Buy tickets here, and subscribe to our blog to follow the production and get updates on what we’re working on!
