AUDITION: June 24, 2016

6/13/2016

When: June 24th 6-10 | June 25 2-6 (Callbacks on the 26th if needed)
Where: UW-Milwaukee Theater Building, Room T6
Sign up for a 10 minute audition slot here:
http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090d44afad28a4fc1-voices
Send: Headshot (or headshot-quality photo) and resume, to voicesfoundrep@gmail.com
What to prepare:
  • 12-16 line Shakespeare monologue. The only rules are that it speaks to you, and that it’s not Bottom from Midsummer or Mercutio from R&J. Everything else is fair game. When we say “speaks to you,” we mean disregard age, gender, “type,” etc. Find a monologue that, even if you’re not sure why, is yours. Shakespeare-monologues.org is an excellent resource for this.
  • Contemporary monologue, no more than a minute and a half. Pick something you like, that shows your strengths or your interest in exploring. A word of advice: our whole thing is to tell stories truthfully. Honesty is far more interesting than “performance."

Please read our Auditions, Etc. page to learn more.
